Our custom-made thermal hot tub covers are designed to offer exceptional durability and performance thanks to high-quality materials. The outer surface is made of marine-grade vinyl (No. 1) , reinforcing waterproofing, resistance to mold, moisture, UV, cold and abrasion, thus ensuring optimal protection against bad weather and outdoor conditions. Under this layer, a reflective aluminum foil (No. 2) is inserted between the vinyl and the extruded polystyrene, acting as an additional barrier to limit heat loss. The core of the cover is made of extruded polystyrene (No. 4) , a high-performance, very dense 32Kg/m3 insulator that effectively prevents heat loss and maintains the water at the ideal temperature. Finally, a C-shaped aluminum reinforcement (No. 3) guarantees exceptional lightness while providing increased strength and total resistance to corrosion. This smart and robust design ensures the structural integrity of your cover throughout its lifespan.
We demand that our custom-made thermal covers be reliable and secure. Steel bars are placed on either side of the cover to strengthen it and allow a child to walk on it without drowning. We consider that a weight of 30 kg can be supported, which effectively secures your spa.
To make it easier to handle your cover, Quality Spa adds handles on each side, so that once folded, you can put it wherever you want.
The vinyl on your thermal cover can be completely removed thanks to a carefully concealed zipper. This will allow you to change just the cover, or to check the condition of your polystyrene if you have any doubts.
What is the finish of our Thermal Blankets?
The materials and manufacturing techniques used are part of a regularly monitored quality approach.
The stitching that holds the vinyl together is tightly sewn to strengthen the main cover. This allows for a longer life for your cover because the threads are less exposed. It is also treated to resist moisture and UV rays.
This is the main element of your cover, as it will be constantly exposed to the elements and the differences in heat between the water in your spa and the outside temperature. We therefore offer a high-quality vinyl, which is specifically treated to last against all natural elements such as sunlight, rain, wind, etc.
